Meet Your Facilitator
Lisa Cambridge-Mitchell
Lisa Cambridge-Mitchell is the founder of Persist in Joy, a personal development and leadership coaching consultancy rooted in purpose, clarity, and transformation.
For over 20 years, Lisa led publicity, artist development, and marketing for music icons including TLC, P!NK, Usher, OutKast, Ciara, Toni Braxton, Snoop Dogg, CeeLo Green, Miguel, G-Eazy, Chris Brown, Tinashe, and many more.
Despite building a career that many only dream of—rising through the ranks in an industry where few women thrive long-term—Lisa found herself asking, “Is this it?”
Discouraged by the glass ceiling and disillusioned with patriarchal corporate culture, she made a bold pivot in 2016. Determined to become the kind of guide and advocate she never had, she founded Persist in Joy to help creatives and leaders reclaim their power, voice, and vision.
Today, Lisa channels her artist development roots into transformational coaching—collaborating with exceptionally talented people and helping them build lives and careers they don’t need to escape from.

-
We intentionally keep the group small to create a space that’s intimate, focused, and supportive.
This isn’t about packing the room—it’s about building a circle of creatives who are ready to show up for themselves and each other.
By limiting registration, we’re able to foster deeper conversations, personalized guidance, and a true sense of camaraderie. Everyone has a voice, and every voice matters.
The goal is connection, not crowding—because meaningful growth happens in spaces where you feel seen, heard, and encouraged.
-
No—sessions will not be recorded.
This choice is intentional. We want to create a space where everyone feels safe speaking freely, asking questions, and sharing honestly without worrying about being on camera or archived.
We prioritize trust, presence, and real-time connection by keeping the experience live and in the moment.

The program begins on Wednesday, April 30th, and includes six live sessions, each 90 minutes long, held once a week.
In addition to our time together, you’ll receive thought-provoking, purposeful homework designed to deepen your growth between sessions, and be useful as touchstones once the program is completed.
You can expect to spend about 2–3 hours per week total—including the live calls and any personal exploration or prep.
It’s a meaningful commitment, but one designed to fit within the rhythm of your creative life—without overwhelming it.
